Job summary

Memory Care of Contra Costa in Pleasant Hill, California, part of The Pennant Group, seeks an Overnight Receptionist to warmly greet visitors and manage calls in a professional, organized manner. You will support a clean reception area, relay messages promptly, and assist with mail tasks.

The role requires basic computer skills and a High School diploma or GED. Schedule is Monday–Friday overnight, with pay in the $18.00–$19.00 per hour range.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Capable of operating computer, copier, postage meter, fax machine, intercom and telephone system.
• Must be capable and comfortable learning and using new computer operating systems, word processing, spreadsheets and e-mail.
• Preferred- High School diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes visitors and answers calls in a warm, professional manner.
• Maintains a clean and neat reception area and handles assigned tasks.
• Greets visitors and directs them to the appropriate area or personnel.
• Operates paging/telephone system as required.
• Takes detailed messages and relays them promptly to the intended recipient.
• Prepares outgoing mail for pickup and distributes incoming mail.
• Maintains a welcoming reception environment.
