Job summary

Planet Fitness is seeking an Overnight Front Desk Associate to deliver a superior member experience for members, prospective members and guests. You will greet and assist at check-in, promote our Judgement Free Zone, handle memberships and calls, and ensure the club stays clean and welcoming during overnight hours.

Responsibilities include answering phones, processing sign-ups and updates, tours for prospective members, and driving retail sales while maintaining safety and cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Ability to pass a background check.
• Willing to become CPR/AED certified.
• Customer service background preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Upbeat and positive attitude!
• Punctuality and reliability is a must.
• Exceptional customer service skills; able to interact in a positive and professional way with members and co-workers, exceeding the member’s expectations.
• Strong listener with the ability to empathize and problem solve.
• Demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions while using appropriate behavior and language.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Greet members/guests at entry and assist with check-in.
• Promote the Judgement Free Zone and assist members on the club floor.
• Resolve member concerns and escalate to a Manager as needed.
• Answer phones and assist callers with inquiries.
• Perform membership functions including sign-ups, updates, cancellations, and transfers.
• Conduct prospective member calls and tours to assess needs.
• Execute retail transactions and drive sales goals.
• Ensure cleanliness of equipment and spa amenities.
• Maintain restrooms cleanliness and supplies.
• Conduct regular club-area walks and address safety issues.
• Address maintenance and facility concerns like broken equipment.
