IHG Hotels in the United States seeks an Overnight Front Desk Clerk to check in/out guests, process payments, issue keys, answer phones, and upsell rooms. You will welcome guests and manage nightly accounting with care.

Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent with at least one year in front desk/guest service; fluent English (other languages a plus). Must stand for long periods and operate PMS/reservation systems; overnight shifts, weekends, or holidays.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with 1 year front desk/guest service experience; some college preferred.
• Must speak fluent English; other languages preferred.
• Ability to operate keyboard and use property management and reservations systems.

Responsabilités

• Welcome guests in a friendly, prompt and professional manner.
• Register guests, issue keys, provide information on services and room location.
• Answer phones in a prompt and courteous manner.
• Upsell rooms to maximize hotel revenue.
• Process cash and credit transactions accurately; prepare deposits and reports.
• Complete daily accounting reports and prepare for hotel management review.
• Issue, control and release guest safe-deposit boxes.
• Communicate guest requests to management for follow-up.
• Respond to guest complaints and do service recovery for satisfaction.
• May book guest reservations and handle cancellations and changes.
• Promote teamwork and quality service with other departments.
• Perform other duties including concierge services and guest room tours.
