Job summary

Marquee Hospitality LLC. is seeking a Night Auditor/Guest Service Agent to manage the front desk during the overnight shift (typically 11 pm–7 am). You will register guests, handle reservations, prepare daily reports, balance transactions, and conduct security walks.

The role requires at least 1 year in a hotel setting and familiarity with accounting principles, Windows OS, and office software. Supervisory experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field.
• Previous supervisory responsibilities preferred.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of Accounting Principles.
• Ability to problem-solve and troubleshoot guest issues.
• Proficient in Windows operating systems, company-approved spreadsheets and word processing.
• Able to convey information clearly.
• Ability to evaluate and choose among alternatives quickly and accurately.
• Works well under stressful, high-pressure situations.
• Ability to assimilate complex information from disparate sources and adjust as needed.
• Able to handle financial data and basic arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Approach all guest and associate encounters in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Maintain regular attendance per hotel scheduling needs.
• Maintain proper appearance, grooming, uniform, and name tag per brand standards.
• Comply with standards and regulations for safe, efficient hotel operations.
• Maintain a friendly and warm demeanor at all times.
• Complete End of Day process.
• Complete the Night Audit checklist for computer procedures daily.
• Balance the day’s work.
• Maintain cashiering responsibilities per Front Office procedures.
• Operate Front Office computer system per standards.
• Fulfill Front Office functions between 11:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.
• Handle guest requests daily during the overnight shift.
• Follow safety and emergency procedures per standards.
• Maintain proper record keeping (logs, etc.).
• Be familiar with policies and house rules.
• Understand security procedures.
• Prepare and distribute Daily Flash Report as needed.
• Transfer master/housel accounts as necessary.
• Complete reports as requested by management.
• Attend meetings as required by management.
