Job summary

Private Hiring Company seeks a detail-oriented Night Auditor to oversee overnight front desk operations and manage daily financial reconciliation. You will act as the face of the hotel during the night, ensuring guests receive excellent service while balancing the day’s transactions.

The ideal candidate enjoys independent work, has basic accounting skills, and can handle late-night guest requests calmly on overnight shifts, including weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality/finance coursework a plus.
• 1+ year hotel front desk or basic bookkeeping/auditing preferred.
• Proficiency with Opera, FOSSE, PEP, SynXis and Excel.
• Strong math skills and cash handling accuracy.
• Ability to work overnight, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Run the Night Audit in the PMS to close the business day.
• Balance daily credit card, cash, and department revenues.
• Identify and fix discrepancies on guest folios or ledger accounts.
• Prepare and distribute daily financial reports (occupancy, revenue, manager reports).
• Process late check-ins/outs and verify payments.
