Job summary

Loews Vanderbilt Hotel in Nashville, TN is seeking an Overnight Front Office Agent to deliver exceptional guest experiences from check-in to check-out. You will greet guests warmly, verify payment information, and promote hotel services in a fast-paced setting.

Ideal candidates bring at least 1 year in guest service, familiarity with Opera PMS, and the ability to stand long hours. Weekend/evening shifts and mandatory trainings are common.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year guest service experience.
• Experience with Property Management System (Opera) preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
• Ability to work weekends, evenings, holidays as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register guests with warmth and professionalism.
• Assign rooms meeting guest preferences and special requests.
• Obtain and verify credit and payment information.
• Promote hotel services, amenities and local attractions.
• Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
• Maintain knowledge of events, group bookings and banquet orders.
• Perform check-out procedures and handle cash transactions accurately.
• Monitor cleanliness and appearance of the Front Desk and lobby area.
• Handle emergencies with professionalism and prioritize safety.
• May be required to work varying schedules and attend mandatory trainings.
