Job summary

Bentley Legacy invites applications for a Night Auditor to manage the overnight front desk operations (typically 11pm–7am) and to prepare and balance daily reports. The role includes guest check-ins/outs, reservations, nightly balancing, security walks, and End of Day procedures.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, hotel experience a plus, and English fluency. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong multitasking abilities are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a hotel or related field is a plus.
• Previous supervisory responsibility preferred.
• Must be fluent in English, both written and verbal.
• Operational knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
• Willing and able to stand for long periods of time.
• Able to work with little supervision.
• Demonstrate the ability to multi-task, be detail-oriented, and be able to problem solve.
• Knowledge of Accounting Principles.

Responsibilities

• Approach all guests and employees with a smile.
• Handle check-ins and check-outs in a friendly, efficient, and courteous manner.
• Obtain all necessary information when taking room reservations.
• Answer guest inquiries about hotel services and hours of operation.
• Be aware of all rates, packages, and special promotions.
• Maintain knowledge of property amenities and local attractions.
• Operate Front Desk computer system.
• Initiate and complete the End of Day process.
• Stay current on required trainings.
• Complete the Night Audit checklist daily.
• Handle overnight guest requests.
• Know emergency procedures as required.
• Assign delivery of newspapers and Express Check-Outs.
• Prepare breakfast area for guest opening.
• Handle Lost and Found items.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
