Job summary

By Landmark is seeking an Overnight Front Desk Agent to welcome guests, check in/out, and provide superb service at our hotels and venues in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in front desk or guest services, a friendly, proactive attitude, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while ensuring guest satisfaction and safety.

Knowledge of local attractions and Front Desk system proficiency are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of Front Desk or Guest Services experience in a hotel.
• Positive, upbeat personality with a passion to deliver outstanding guest service.
• Ability to multitask, be detail-oriented and problem solve for guests.
• Works well in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to read, comprehend and write simple instructions and memos.
• Operational knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
• Understanding of hotel products and guest services.
• Ability to contribute to an enjoyable work environment.

Responsibilities

• Overnight Front Desk is responsible for providing outstanding guest service.
• Register guests, make and modify reservations, answer inquiries, and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Approach all encounters with guests and associates in a friendly service-oriented manner.
• Need open availability including weekends, holidays and shift coverage as needed.
• Comply with property policies, standards and regulations to ensure safe, efficient operations.
• Know and assist in emergency procedures as required.
• Handle check-ins and check-outs in a friendly, efficient manner.
• Operate all relevant aspects of Front Desk computer system.
• Ensure logging and delivery of packages, mail and messages to guests and meeting rooms.
• Deliver guest items such as luggage, newspapers, messages, packages, amenities or other items upon request.
• Maintain knowledge of property amenities and local attractions.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support teamwork and hotel safety.
