Job summary

The Overnight Front Desk Agent at Onni is responsible for checking guests in and out, handling transactions, balancing a cash drawer, and answering guest inquiries to ensure a quick and seamless arrival and stay.

In this role you will greet guests warmly, provide local information, coordinate with housekeeping and other departments, and maintain accurate guest profiles and records to support repeat visits.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of operations in the hospitality industry.
• Ability to stand and stay on feet for up to 8 hours.
• High school diploma preferred; Bachelor's degree preferred; previous hotel experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete registration per The Emily Hotel’s standards: greet guests, confirm stay and room type, collect payment, and provide information before directing guests to the elevator.
• Close guest accounts at check out per standards: greet at checkout, confirm payment, and request feedback; update guest profile for future stays.
• Greet guests warmly and assist via phone or in person; respond to requests promptly and provide accurate information about hours and functions; offer basic concierge services.
• Handle cash, balance the house bank, record vouchers, and post charges in the PMS; move cash from the storage vault as needed.
• Collaborate with Housekeeping, Engineering, Sales, Reservations to fulfill guest needs and address inquiries and billing issues.
• Field guest complaints; research and negotiate effective solutions; remain calm during emergencies or busy activity; plan steps with discretion.
• Perform duties of Front Desk, Reservations, and Telephone Operator to ensure guest satisfaction.
