Job summary

The Post Oak Hotel at Uptown Houston is seeking an Overnight Front Desk Agent to be the guests' first contact during their stay and manage all aspects of their accommodation. You will work within a Forbes Five-Star environment in Houston, delivering curated guest experiences with high professionalism.

Responsibilities include checking in/out guests, handling reservations, and providing attentive service while upholding Forbes and AAA standards.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Front Office experience or equivalent.
• Must speak, read, write and understand English.
• Previous hotel luxury or Forbes experience preferred.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Physical requirement: stand for an entire work shift.

Responsibilities

• Be knowledgeable about The Post Oak and its services.
• Process all guest check-ins/check-outs according to Forbes and AAA standards.
• Document and confirm reservations and cancellations.
• Answer department telephone within three rings with proper etiquette.
• Accommodate guest requests in a congenial manner.
• Set up accurate guest accounts per their requirements and maintain history files.
• Notify appropriate personnel for any guest issue and follow up within 20 minutes.
