Job summary

The Post Oak Hotel, part of Landry's, seeks an Overnight Front Desk Agent to be the guest’s first point of contact and to manage all aspects of their stay at our Forbes Five-Star property in Texas.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, processing check-ins/outs, maintaining accurate guest accounts, recording requests, and ensuring timely follow-up. Candidates should have 1 year of front desk experience, strong English skills, and availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Front Office experience or equivalent.
• Must speak, read, write and understand English.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Physical ability to stand for an entire shift.

Responsibilities

• Be knowledgeable about The Post Oak and its services.
• Handle guest check-ins/check-outs according to Forbes and AAA standards.
• Set up accurate accounts for each guest checking in and maintain guest history files.
• Document all guest requests, complaints or problems and follow up within 20 minutes to ensure resolution.
• Answer department telephone within three rings with proper greeting and etiquette.
• Document and confirm reservations and cancellations.
