Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; some college preferred.
• At least 1 year front desk/guest service experience.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong computer, organizational, and basic math skills.
• Ability to multitask and stay calm in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Dependable with confidentiality of guest and financial information.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and check in guests with a friendly, professional attitude.
• Process check-ins/outs, room assignments, and issue keys.
• Answer calls and assist guests with questions, reservations, and hotel information.
• Promote available room upgrades and hotel services when appropriate.
• Process cash, credit cards, and other payments accurately.
• Complete nightly audit procedures and daily reconciliations.
• Prepare deposits and maintain cashier records.
• Manage guest safe‑deposit boxes and procedures.
• Resolve guest concerns and provide service recovery.
• Communicate guest requests and issues to management and other departments.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance for seamless service.
• Assist with reservations, cancellations, and special guest requests.
• Perform additional duties including concierge services and guest room tours.
