Job summary

AC Hotel by Marriott Fort Lauderdale Airport is seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Associate to act as the hotel ambassador during night shifts. You will greet guests, register and assign rooms, and coordinate with other departments to ensure a smooth stay.

Responsibilities include handling check-outs, answering questions about services and directions, and promoting hotel amenities while maintaining a high level of guest satisfaction. Ability to work nights and weekends is essential.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED completion.
• Ability to communicate effectively and clearly.
• Demonstrate good computer skills.
• Accurately handle cash and post charges.
• Hotel experience preferred but not mandatory, some customer service background required.
• Ability to speak Spanish is a plus.
• Must be willing and capable of passing Alcohol Certification during the first three months of employment.
• Requires the ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Time management skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other employees.
