You will mentor staff, manage staffing and training, and partner with leadership to drive efficiency and compliance across departments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-3 years of related retail experience.
• One year of management experience.
• Rotational assignments in other areas of the store is helpful.
• Strong communication and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to analyze financial and statistical information to inform decisions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a positive company image by providing courteous, friendly service.
• Staffing, selection and hiring to meet staffing needs.
• Promote career development by providing career paths and development needs; involved in promotions.
• Document disciplinary actions and make recommendations concerning discharge.
• Responsible for P&L, achieving sales and maintaining shrink for the department.
• Mentor and coach team members to exceed customer service and sales goals.
• Ensure the team is thoroughly trained in all aspects of their jobs and have completed all required training.
• Spends majority of time within the store communicating with customers and team members to ensure exceptional service is delivered.
• Promotes a safe work environment.
• Reliable and consistent attendance required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
