Job summary

Meijer is seeking a store operations leader to plan, direct, and supervise day-to-day team activities across departments. You will mentor staff, drive customer service and sales, and ensure staffing aligns with store needs while upholding company standards.

Responsibilities include staffing, coaching, and implementing development plans, with a focus on meeting service and sales goals and maintaining a safe, well-presented store environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or its equivalent required.
• 2-3 years of related retail experience.
• One year of management experience.
• Rotational assignments in other store areas and customer service experience are helpful.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and resolve conflicts.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and analyze information.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct and supervise team members in day-to-day operations.
• Mentor and coach team members to meet service and sales goals.
• Staffing, selection and hiring to meet staffing needs.
• Promote career development and succession planning.
• Manage P&L, achieve sales and maintain shrink for the department.
• Ensure safety and maintain Meijer standards and training.
