Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 3 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Oversee and manage operations of parking and transportation services.
• Experience supervising employees in fast-paced environments.
• Experience with parking management systems and revenue controls.
• Strong communication and customer service abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the activities of subordinates.
• Tracks and monitors expenditures against budget allocations.
• Develops reports on area operations and submits to manager.
• Conducts shift briefings for parking enforcement officers.
• Develops policies and procedures and obtains management approval.
• Performs vehicle inspections and schedules maintenance for meters and readers.
• Monitors collection, recording and deposit of monies.
• Evaluates and resolves problems presented by staff or others.
• Provides guidance to groups such as the Parking Appeals Board.
• Trains new personnel and provides training materials and leadership.
