Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Maintenance Technician III to perform general repairs and preventive maintenance across facility systems including electrical, mechanical, refrigeration and control systems at multiple locations in Wisconsin. The role supports process improvements and may back up the Senior Technician with repairs, projects and on-call coverage.

Shift: 8:00 p.m. - 8:30 a.m., Saturday through Monday (three 12-hour overnight shifts).

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent experience in maintenance.
• Experience with electrical, plumbing, HVAC and related facility systems preferred.
• Ability to read safety and maintenance documentation.

Responsibilities

• Communicate facility and safety issues to Facilities Management and coordinate with internal customers and vendors.
• Manage spare parts for facility utilities and supplies to minimize downtime.
• Enter, prioritize and complete work orders in the CMMS system.
