Waypoint Maine, Inc. is seeking a Direct Support Professional to assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in community, residential and program settings.

The DSP will model healthy relationships, encourage independence, and support self-determination while ensuring dignity and safety. The role involves documentation, coordination with families and professionals, transportation support, and adherence to agency policies and HCBS requirements.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• CRMA and Safety Care certification planned as primary responsibilities.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
• Proficiency in speaking, reading and writing English.
• Ability to learn beginner level information technology skills.
