Job summary

Waypoint Maine, Inc. seeks a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support individuals in residential and community settings. You will help members achieve independence, participate in community activities, and follow person-centered plans with compassion and confidentiality.

The role requires high school diploma or GED, driver’s license, English proficiency, and DSP/CRMA/Safety Care certification. Starting rate is $17/hour, with comprehensive benefits and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; DSP/CRMA/Safety Care certification expected.
• Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing English.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to learn timekeeping, documentation, and training systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized support to promote independence and community engagement.
• Assist with activities of daily living and household tasks.
• Administer medications per policies and maintain safety procedures.
