Job summary

Grafton is seeking a Direct Support Professional - Overnight Living Coach in Winchester, VA. Under general supervision, you will provide direct care to adults with complex needs, assist with bedtime, morning hygiene, dressing and breakfast routines, and perform 15-minute health and safety checks.

You will document client behavior, collaborate with the treatment team, maintain safety, and promote positive goals through proactive strategies.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure medications are delivered accurately and on time.
• Provide for the well-being and safety of clients.
• Support client health and hygiene and morning routines.
• Document client behavior and participation in programming.
• Collaborate with the Treatment Team to provide continuity of care and crisis management.
