Job summary

Grafton is seeking a Residential Instructor in the Children & Adolescent program in Winchester, VA, to support direct care and implement treatment plans. The role emphasizes supervision, safety, documentation, and positive behavior strategies in a collaborative team setting.

Evening and weekend availability is required; schedules include 2:30pm–10:30pm on Wed–Fri and 8:30am–10:30pm on Saturday, with PRN opportunities. This on-site position offers growth and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be 19 years of age.
• High School Diploma or equivalent with six months of direct care experience with children/adolescents or Associates with three months of direct care experience or a Bachelors in Human Services.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Demonstrates moderate computer skills and basic keyboarding skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensures the health, safety and wellness of Clients.
• Supports client health and hygiene and infection control procedures.
• Reports serious incidents and participates in follow-up measures.
• Follows and administers the individual plan for clients (Plans, Treatment Plan, IEP, ISP).
• Collaborates with the Treatment Team to provide continuity of support and care.
