Job summary

Grafton is seeking a Direct Support Professional for the Overnight Residential Assistant role in the Children & Adolescence program. You will support clients during bedtime, morning routines and be part of a treatment-focused team focused on safety, education and positive behavioral outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must be 19 years of age.
• Must pass criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• High school diploma or GED (no experience) or higher.
• Experience may include supervised internships, practicums, field experience or related experiences.

Responsibilities

• Participate in direct care and plan implementation for clients.
• Provide supervision, safety and crisis management for client population.
• Record and document client behavior and participation in programming.
• Adhere to scheduled activities and assist with bedtime routines and morning hygiene.
