McLane in Shawnee, KS is seeking a Delivery Assistant to support Delivery Drivers. You will unload trailers, place items in approved storage areas, and help ensure deliveries are accurate and on time while adhering to safety standards.

The role offers overnight shifts four days a week with pay of $22.50 per hour and a full benefits package beginning after initial employment. Candidates must be 18+, lift up to 75 lbs, and read/write English.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and understand English at a functional level.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to lift and move product up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Unload trailer using a hand truck or 2-wheeled dolly.
• Place all delivery items in customer-designated food-safe storage areas.
• Assist the Driver's efforts to ensure accurate and on-time deliveries.
• Work safely to prevent injury to people and damage to products.
• Other duties as assigned.
