Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. in Shawnee, KS is seeking a Delivery Assistant to support the Delivery Driver. You will unload, sort, and store items, helping ensure on-time deliveries while representing the company to customers. This is a 3rd shift role with overnight hours.

Applicants must be 18+, able to lift up to 75 pounds, and able to read and write English. Benefits begin after 60 days, including medical, dental, vision, FSA/HSA, and life insurance.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Lift and move product and pallets up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform tasks and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Unload trailer using a hand truck or dolly.
• Place all delivery items in customer-designated food-safe storage areas.
• Assist the Driver to ensure accurate and on-time deliveries.
• Work safely to prevent injury and product damage.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
