McLane is hiring a Delivery Assistant to support our Delivery Driver. You will not drive the truck, but you will assist with unloading, placing items in safe storage, and helping ensure on-time deliveries.

This is a fast-paced, physical role with opportunities to interact with customers and grow within a nationwide logistics network. Pay is $22.00 per hour with benefits starting on day 60, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, FSA/HSA, and life insurance.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Lift and move product and pallets up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English at a basic level to perform job tasks safely and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Unload trailer using a hand truck or 2-wheeled dolly.
• Place all delivery items in customer-designated food-safe storage areas.
• Assist the Driver's efforts to ensure accurate and on-time deliveries.
• Work safely to prevent injury to people and damage to products.
• Other duties as assigned.
