Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a Delivery Assistant to support our delivery drivers in a fast-paced, on-site environment. You will be bending, lifting, and walking daily while presenting a friendly face to customers and maintaining safety and accuracy in deliveries.

The role pays $22.00 per hour with benefits beginning after 60 days, vacation and sick leave accrue from day one, and holidays after 90 days. A background check and drug screen may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English well enough to perform job duties safely.
• Lift and move product and pallets up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Unload trailer using a hand truck or dolly.
• Place delivery items in customer-designated food-safe storage areas.
• Assist the Driver to ensure accurate and on-time deliveries.
• Work safely to prevent injury to people and damage to products.
• Other duties as assigned.
