Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a Delivery Assistant to provide direct support to a McLane Delivery Driver. You will perform physical tasks including lifting and walking daily, and you will represent the company to customers with strong service.

The role pays $23.75 per hour and includes benefits such as medical, dental, vision, FSA/HSA, and life insurance. Vacation, sick leave, holidays after 90 days, and additional programs support work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform tasks.

Responsibilities

• Unload trailer using a hand truck or 2-wheeled dolly.
• Place all delivery items in customer-designated food-safe storage areas.
• Assist the Driver's efforts to ensure accurate and on-time deliveries.
• Work safely to prevent injury to people and damage to products.
• Other duties as assigned.
