Job summary

Calvary Healing Center in Phoenix seeks a Behavioral Health Technician for a full-time overnight shift (7:00pm–7:30am). The BHT provides continuous patient care, supervision, interaction, and role modeling as part of the treatment team, under nursing leadership, in a facility offering detox, inpatient care, PHP, and IOP.

Qualified candidates will have a High School Diploma/GED; 21+ years old; BLS and First Aid within 30 days; and a valid Fingerprint Clearance Card and driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Preferred one year of experience in a psychiatric or behavioral health inpatient setting.
• Valid Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Completion of BLS & First Aid Certification within 30 days of hire.
• Completion of Handle With Care Training within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• The BHT operates as an active member of the treatment team, providing continuous patient care, supervision, interaction, and role modeling to patients.
• Works under the direction of the Milieu Manager, RN Charge Nurse, and Director of Nursing.
