Job summary

Calvary Healing Center, part of Universal Health Services, Inc., is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) for full-time overnight shifts (7:00pm–7:30am) in Phoenix. The role supports a treatment team with continuous patient care, supervision, interaction, and role modeling under Milieu Manager, RN Charge Nurse, and Director of Nursing.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, 21+ years old, and prefer experience in psychiatric inpatient settings; BLS/First Aid and Handle With Care

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Must be 21 years of age to be a BHT.
• Preferred one year of experience working in a psychiatric or behavioral health inpatient setting.
• Valid Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Possession of a Valid Driver's License and pass a 39-month driving report
• Completion of BLS & First Aid Certification within 30 days of hire.
• Completion of Handle With Care Training within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• The BHT operates as an active and crucial part of the treatment team, providing continuous patient care, supervision, interaction, and role modeling to patients.
• The BHT works under the direction of the Milieu Manager, RN Charge Nurse, and Director of Nursing.
