Job summary

Calvary Healing Center seeks a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) for a full-time daytime role from 7:00am to 7:30pm. The BHT supports the treatment team with continuous patient care, supervision, interaction and role modeling under a Milieu Manager, RN Charge Nurse, and Director of Nursing.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, 21+ years old, Arizona Level One Fingerprint Clearance, valid driver's license, and BLS/First Aid plus Handle With Care training within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must be 21 years of age to be a BHT.
• Preferred one year of experience in a psychiatric or behavioral health inpatient setting.
• Valid Arizona Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card required.
• Possession of a Valid Driver's License and pass a 39-month driving report.
• Completion of BLS & First Aid Certification within 30 days of hire.
• Completion of Handle With Care Training within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• The BHT operates as an active and crucial part of the treatment team, providing continuous patient care, supervision, interaction, and role modeling to patients.
• The BHT works under the direction of the Milieu Manager, RN Charge Nurse, and Director of Nursing.
