Job summary

Calvary Healing Center, part of the UHS network, seeks a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) for an overnight PRN role in Phoenix. Shift is from 7:00pm to 7:30am. The BHT provides continuous patient care, supervision, interaction, and role modeling within the treatment team under nursing leadership.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma/GED, 21+ age, fingerprint clearance, valid driver's license, and completion of BLS/First Aid plus verbal de-escalation training within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Must be 21 years of age to be a BHT.
• Preferred one year of experience in a psychiatric or behavioral health inpatient setting.
• Valid Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Possession of a Valid Driver's License and pass a 39-month driving report.
• Completion of BLS & First Aid Certification within 30 days of hire.
• Completion of Verbal De-Escalation Training within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• The BHT operates as an active and crucial part of the treatment team, providing continuous patient care, supervision, interaction, and role modeling to patients.
• The BHT works under the direction of the Senior Lead Technician, Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) and Director of Nursing (DON).
