Job summary

Universal Health Services, Inc. seeks a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) for PRN daytime shifts at Calvary Healing Center in Phoenix. Provide direct patient care, supervise interactions, and role model professional behavior as part of the treatment team.

Under the Milieu Manager, RN Charge Nurse, and Director of Nursing, you will support detoxification, inpatient care, PHP, and IOP programs, helping patients progress toward recovery.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Must be 21 years of age to be a BHT.
• Must possess a valid Driver's License and pass a 39-Month Driving Report.
• Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card or able to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Preferred one year of experience working in a psychiatric or behavioral health inpatient setting.
• Completion of BLS & First Aid Certification within 30 days of hire.
• Completion of Handle With Care Training within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• The BHT operates as an active and crucial part of the treatment team, providing continuous patient care, supervision, interaction, and role modeling to patients.
• The BHT works under the direction of the Milieu Manager, RN Charge Nurse, and Director of Nursing.
