Job summary

Lee’s Marketplace is seeking an Overnight Production Baker to craft scratch-made baked goods during the overnight hours. The role involves preparing, baking, stocking, rotating and maintaining bakery inventory including bread, pastries, and cakes.

Candidates should have a passion for baking, strong time management, and knowledge of food safety practices. Responsibilities include following recipes, ensuring product quality, labeling items accurately, and maintaining a clean, sanitary workstation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year baking or commercial bakery experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake fresh bread, rolls, pastries, and other baked goods using recipes and formulas provided by the bakery department.
• Assists with the production of items according to demand forecasts, adjusting production runs as necessary to meet customer and retail needs
• Assists with maintaining proper inventory levels and ordering supplies as needed to prevent shortages.
• Follow the nightly production schedule to ensure shelves are stocked with fresh product by store opening.
