Job summary

Hotel Indigo Nashville @ the Countrypolitan in Printers Alley is seeking a Night Auditor to join our front desk team. The role covers overnight audit processes, daily revenue reporting, and final statements for the next day’s check-outs, with occasional reception duties for late-night guests.

Starting pay range is $21-$23 per hour for a full-time overnight shift. Candidates should have at least one year front desk experience, basic accounting knowledge, and the ability to balance cash, checks,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of hotel front desk experience.
• Understand basic auditing, balancing, and closing out accounts.
• Know how to operate front office equipment.
• Experience handling cash, accounting procedures and general administrative tasks.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and sit, stand, or walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Check front office accounting records for accuracy and summarize information for financial records.
• Track room revenue, occupancy, and other front office statistics.
• Prepare a daily cash/check/credit activity summary reflecting financial performance.
• Post room charges and taxes to guest accounts, including transactions posted later.
• Process guest charges vouchers and credit card vouchers.
• Transfer charges and deposits to master accounts.
• Ensure all charges are allocated to the correct departments.
• Verify front desk transactions with supporting documentation.
• Print and file reservations for the next business day.
• Monitor coupon, discount, and promotional programs.
• Perform check-ins/check-outs and wake-up calls.
• Summarize operational results for management.
• Balance the day’s charges and make corrections as needed.
• Respond to guest needs and requests; handle complaints.
