Hotel Indigo New Orleans is seeking a Night Audit to manage both Front Desk and Accounting duties, ensuring accurate daily revenue posting, balancing and reconciliations for the hotel’s financial performance.

You will greet and register guests, check them in and out, handle reservations, and ensure correct billing, including credit card processing and incidentals. The role requires professional guest service and attention to detail for nightly operations.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Audit, post, and balance daily cashiers work for hotel
• Accurately post all room fees, related taxes, and other charges to guest accounts
• Verify all entries are balanced and resolve discrepancies
• Prepare financial reports and distribute to appropriate departments
• Ensure credit card system reconciles to daily transaction lists
• Verify cash postings and cashier drops
• Maintain daily turn of hotel paperwork and ensure proper filing
• Greet guests and handle registration and check-in/out
• Answer telephone, transfer calls, and take messages
• Make hotel reservations, including changes and cancellations
• Follow proper credit card procedures
• Maintain stocked front desk supplies and know emergency procedures
• Collect payment at check-in/out and make change as necessary
• Perform other reasonable duties as requested
