Job summary

Colonial Group seeks a diligent Night Audit professional to record and reconcile resort transactions, serve as after-hours guest reception, and support night operations from midnight to 8am. Maintain accurate accounts, assist with reports, and ensure smooth day transitions.

Candidates should have a High School diploma or GED, with preferred AA/AS in accounting and strong cash handling, attention to detail, and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in hotel front desk or accounting is preferred.
• Know-how with standard accounting procedures and cash handling.
• Ability to work third shift and maintain accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Post room charges and taxes, process no-shows and close of day.
• Verify postings and balance daily resort cash and documents.
• Run preliminary reports and assist night operations.
• Register arriving guests and coordinate after-hours needs.
• Dispatch staff for after-hours support and emergencies.
• Maintain guest profiles and communicate issues to departments.
• Provide courteous service and protect confidentiality.
