Job summary

Pine Street Inn is seeking an Assistant Supervisor to manage overnight operations and onsite services for our team in Boston. You will support crisis management and oversee the performance of a 12-person staff.

The ideal candidate has demonstrated leadership in human services, preferably with experience among homeless populations. In addition, you should have strong computer skills and the ability to resolve conflict during crises, with a preference for bilingual candidates (English/Spanish).

Qualifications

• Minimum two years in a leadership/supervisory position in a human service setting.
• Direct care experience with individuals who are homeless or experiencing poverty.
• Demonstrated ability to resolve conflict and work well during a crisis.

Responsibilities

• Help manage operations of the overnight shift for a 12-person team.
• Ensure security screening and provide essential services to guests.
• Oversee creation of shift and incident reports.
