Meijer is seeking an Area Leader to oversee team engagement, coaching, and development within the span of care. You will direct Leads and Team Leaders and be accountable for area operations and financial metrics including scheduling, shrink, and productivity.

You will lead talent discussions, ensure Meijer standards, and champion a safe, inclusive culture while driving process improvements and customer satisfaction across multiple departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 4+ years in retail/grocery or customer service.
• Progressive leadership experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze financial and statistical information to make informed decisions.
• Demonstrates commitment to safe working practices and inclusive environment.

Responsabilités

• Engages with team members to ensure onboarding, training and development, and coaching for success.
• Identifies talent and supports staffing and leadership development.
• Leads candid discussions to uphold standards and growth opportunities.
• Oversees area operations and financial results, driving budgeted P&L performance.
• Drives safety, compliance, and store condition management across the area.
• Guides Team Leaders in daily work assignments and training needs.
