Meijer is hiring an Area Leader to drive team engagement and oversee operations across the span of care. You will coach Leads and Team Leaders, manage budget line items in the P&L, and ensure safety, scheduling, and forecasting staffing needs are met while maintaining Meijer standards.

A strong focus on development and inclusive leadership is essential. Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, 4+ years in retail or customer service, and proven leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 4+ years of retail/grocery or customer service experience.
• Progressive leadership experience preferred.
• A passion to provide industry leading service.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate with team members to provide clear direction.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze financial and statistical information to inform decisions.
• Demonstrates proactive/creative thinking and applies it to the business.

Responsabilités

• Engages with team members to ensure onboarding, training and development.
• Identifies talent and supports staffing strategies for diverse leadership roles.
• Engages in candid discussions to uphold Meijer standards and growth.
• Oversees area operations and financial results, achieving sales and productivity targets.
• Drives safety and compliance and manages store conditions.
• Directs Leads and Team Leaders in daily work and training needs.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
