Job summary

Pike Corporation is seeking a Groundman to support the construction, repair, and maintenance of overhead electrical distribution systems. You will assist the crew under the Foreman, work outdoors, and participate in safety practices and on-call rotations.

The role involves lifting up to 50 pounds, traveling to job sites (including out-of-state), and working extended hours, including weekends and holidays. Founded on safety and teamwork, Pike offers a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with ability to obtain CDL within 60 days.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull materials up to 50 pounds.
• Work extended hours including weekends, holidays, and emergencies.
• Able to work outdoors in varying weather and conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in constructing, repairing and maintaining overhead electrical distribution systems.
• Help install and repair power lines, poles, insulators, conductors and related hardware.
• Maintain company vehicles, equipment and tools in good working order.
• Operate in outdoor environments with exposure to heat, cold, rain, wind and noise.
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to outages or emergencies.
