Job summary

Pike Electric, LLC is seeking a Class A Lineman to build and repair overhead distribution systems, including energized and de-energized lines. You will travel to multiple job sites, including out-of-state locations, and report to the Foreman.

Responsibilities include leading crews in the Foreman's absence, performing pre-job safety briefings, training apprentices, and installing hardware on power lines. Expect to work outdoors in all conditions and on call rotations.

Qualifications

• Five years of overhead line experience.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Available for outages, storms, emergencies, including on call.
• Safety-focused with PPE knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Construct and repair overhead distribution systems.
• Lead crew members in the absence of the Employee in Charge.
• Train and mentor apprentices and groundmen.
• Install and repair overhead power lines, poles, insulators and conductors.
• Perform live-line work using gloving and hot-stick techniques.
