Job summary

Pike Electric LLC is seeking a safety‑conscious Class A Lineman to build and repair energized and de‑energized overhead distribution systems. The role involves travel to various job sites, in‑state and out‑of‑state, and reporting to the Foreman.

Expect to lead crews, mentor apprentices, and perform live-line work with proper PPE. The ideal candidate has substantial overhead line experience, a CDL, and willingness to work outside normal hours, including outages and emergencies.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of recent overhead line experience.
• CDL required.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Work extended hours, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Construct, maintain and repair overhead distribution systems.
• Lead crew in absence of supervisor and conduct safety briefings.
• Train apprentices and groundmen.
• Install/repair overhead lines, poles, insulators and hardware.
• Perform live-line work with insulated tools and gloves.
