Job summary

Pike Electric, LLC is seeking a Class A Lineman to construct and repair overhead distribution systems. You will work on energized and de-energized lines and may travel to different sites, including out‑of‑state locations. You will report to the Foreman and operate bucket trucks and related equipment.

The role requires climbing structures, working outdoors in varying conditions, and availability for outages, storms, and on-call rotations. Safety compliance is essential in all tasks.

Qualifications

• Five years of overhead line experience required.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull materials up to 50 pounds.
• Willing to work outside normal hours, including weekends and emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Perform new construction, maintenance and repair of overhead distribution systems.
• Lead crew in absence of the Employee in Charge; conduct safety briefings.
• Train and mentor apprentices and groundmen.
• Install and repair overhead power lines, poles, insulators and conductors.
• Follow switching, tagging, grounding procedures and use proper PPE.
