Job summary

Pike Electric, LLC is seeking a Class A Lineman to construct and repair overhead distribution systems, both energized and de-energized. You will lead crews when needed, train apprentices, and perform live-line work using gloving and hot-stick techniques in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities include safety briefings, equipment operation and travel to different job sites, including out-of-state locations.

Qualifications

• Five years of recent overhead line experience.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Experience with live-line work using gloving and hot-sticks is required.

Responsibilities

• Construct and repair overhead distribution systems, energized or de-energized.
• Lead crew members in the absence of the Employee in Charge; conduct safety briefings.
• Train and mentor apprentices and groundmen.
• Install and repair overhead power lines, poles, insulators, conductors and related hardware.
• Perform live-line work with approved safety techniques and equipment.
• Follow safety protocols and PPE usage at all times.
