Job summary

Pike Electric, LLC is seeking a Class A Lineman to construct and repair overhead distribution systems. You will work on energized and de-energized lines, travel to job sites and report to the Foreman, with safety first in all tasks.

The role requires climbing structures, operating bucket trucks and related equipment, and performing live-line work with insulated tools. CDL is required and willingness to travel, including out-of-state outages.

Qualifications

• Five years of overhead line experience.
• Valid CDL.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and work extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction, maintenance and repair of overhead distribution systems while prioritizing safety.
• Lead crew in absence of supervisor and conduct pre-job safety briefings.
• Train apprentices and groundmen.
• Install and repair overhead power lines and related hardware.
• Perform live-line work using gloves and hot sticks.
