Job summary

Pike Electric LLC is seeking a Class A Lineman to construct and repair overhead distribution systems, handling energized and de-energized lines. This role may require travel to different job sites, including out-of-state locations, with reporting to the Foreman.

Responsibilities include leading crew members when needed, training apprentices, installing and repairing lines, and performing live-line work with proper safety protocols. CDL is required and long hours including emergencies may apply.

Qualifications

• Five years of recent overhead line experience.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Construct and repair overhead distribution systems, both energized and de-energized.
• Lead crew in absence of the Employee in Charge and conduct safety briefings.
• Train and mentor apprentices and groundmen.
• Perform live-line work using gloving and hot-stick techniques.
• Follow safety protocols, PPE usage, and insulation procedures.
