Job summary

Pike Electric LLC is seeking a safety-focused Class A Lineman to construct and repair overhead distribution systems. You will work on energized and de-energized lines, travel to job sites as needed, and report to the Foreman. The role demands climbing structures and operating bucket trucks and related equipment.

Responsibilities include leading crew members, training apprentices, and performing live-line work with proper PPE. Outages, storms, and on-call rotations are part of the job.

Qualifications

• Five years of overhead line experience.
• Valid CDL.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift, carry, push or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Longer work hours including weekends, holidays, and on-call emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction, maintenance and repair of overhead distribution systems.
• Lead crew in the absence of the Employee in Charge.
• Train apprentices and groundmen.
• Install and repair overhead power lines and related hardware.
• Perform live-line work using insulating gloves and hot-stick techniques.
