Job summary

Pike Electric, LLC is seeking a Class B Lineman to construct and repair overhead distribution systems, work on energized and de-energized lines, and travel to multiple job sites as needed. Safety is the priority and you report to the Foreman.

This role requires three years of overhead line experience, a valid CDL, and willingness to work long hours, outages and emergencies. You will operate bucket trucks and other equipment outdoors in diverse weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of overhead line experience.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift, carry and maneuver up to 50 pounds.
• Work extended hours including weekends and emergencies.
• Ability to work at heights around energized equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction, maintenance and repair of overhead distribution systems.
• Install and repair overhead power lines, poles and hardware.
• Operate bucket trucks, digger derricks and other equipment.
• Follow safety protocols and PPE requirements.
• Climb structures and work at heights; communicate with hand signals.
