Job summary

Pike Electric LLC in Texas invites skilled Class A Linemen to join our safety‑driven team, building and repairing overhead distribution lines at various sites, including out‑of‑state assignments. You will handle energized and de‑energized circuits, mentor apprentices, and lead crews when the Employee in Charge is absent, with opportunities to advance and travel.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of overhead line experience.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work extended hours.
• Live-line work experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Construct and repair overhead distribution systems.
• Work on energized and de-energized lines.
• Lead crew in absence of supervisor and conduct safety briefings.
• Train apprentices and groundmen.
• Install and repair overhead power lines, poles, insulators, conductors, and hardware.
• Perform live-line work using gloving and hot-stick techniques.
• Follow safety protocols, PPE, and insulated protective gear.
• Climb structures and work at heights in varying conditions.
• Operate bucket trucks and other overhead line equipment.
• Available for outages, storms, emergencies including on-call.
• Travel to job sites, including out-of-state assignments.
