Job summary

FedEx Freight, Inc. is seeking a truck driver for linehaul and related duties. Pick up and deliver trailers between service centers and turn-point locations using tractor-trailer combinations.

Requirements include a Class A CDL with hazmat and tank endorsements, one year of recent driving experience or completion of FedEx Freight Driver Development Course, and compliance with DOT regulations. Competitive pay and benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Class A CDL with double/triple, hazmat and tank endorsements. Automatic transmission CDL restriction allowed.
• Must have 1 year experience within the most recent 3 years or successful completion of FedEx Freight Driver Development Course.
• Must have acceptable MVR per hiring standards.
• Must meet all DOT 391 regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailer combination, including doubles (and triples where applicable).
• Perform daily pre-trip and safety inspections on equipment.
• Hook/unhook trailers and converter dollies to/from a tractor and/or trailer.
• Verify and complete required documentation and reports.
• Maintain accurate daily logs.
• Follow dispatch instructions and communicate with dispatch as required.
• Load and unload freight as required.
